Jo Basil (1928-1982)
Born in France, Jo Basil was an accordionist who left behind many famous performances spanning genres from jazz and classical to Latin music.
Although unknown in Japan, he was a major musician in the United States, selling a total of 4 million records.
I've been collecting his works bit by bit for about 20 years on Yahoo Auctions, eBay, etc., but I need to organize them, so I'm reluctantly letting them go. I don't think there's much demand in Japan, but if you're interested, please take this opportunity!
The collection is from the era when Basil signed with the American Audio Fidelity company and frequently released albums around 1958 (around 1958-62).
The analog records from Audio Fidelity, known for their high-quality CDs, have recordings and cuttings that are faithful to the original sound, and I think many of them are quite valuable from an audio perspective.
Plus, the jacket designs are so wonderful that you could stare at them forever.
The With Love series, with local arrangements from various countries, features a series of beautiful women riding Vespas, and the jackets are so nice that they could be used as interior decorations.

The condition is generally good.
I have stored them in my first-string record shelf, taking care of the air conditioning.
Although 60 years have passed since their release, they are in very good condition.
Some company sleeves are made of vinyl, but there is no discoloration.
Some were purchased in mint condition and have never been played.
There are 18 records in total, and there are 2 copies of Roma with Love, so there are 19 records.
I'd like to sell them all together!
However, I still have some regrets, so I may suddenly cancel the listing.
