
Beautifully wood carved, painted, and costumed in sequins, velvet, and gold fabric, this wooden marionette from Burma - now known as Myanmar - originally was 167, probably 40 years ago, from the CAFAM Folk Art Museum store in Los Angeles.
Note how ornate the costume is in the photos as well as the painting, including red lipstick and red fingernails.
Wooden handle on strings
Some strings have degraded and broken with age. Small chip on one hand. Could be restrung or displayed as it is. Does need to be cleaned as it is dusty
