I am not done listing my old Sears catalogs. I think I have one or two more to list. This 1942-43 Sears catalog is a fall winter version But the front covers falling apart. All pages intact, I am pretty sure, however I won't be counting them any time soon! There may be one missing here and there but I never took any out. I have a bookmarks on the jewelry pages I thought I'd leave them up there because sometimes jewelry of this type is very hard to date. You can always remove them . Of course, it smells musty....WWII era!Practical fashion. The prices! The PRICES?....wow...The reference to the war / air raids on the cover...If you have searched a Sears catalog this old, you would know how rare they are. Seldom priced for less than $200. Mostly sepia/white photos, but many color plates. NOT a reprint or reproduction This is the real thing. If you are a vintage dealer these are priceless for research. Want to be familiar with the styles of the time? All right here. Fashion history? Covered here. I'm going to price mine pretty much the same as the others but I will consider offers.I am selling my entire collection of research books on vintage fashion. Some are shown in the last photo. This has been in my collection for a while and I have more to sell because I am done buying vintage to sell. I have many more to sell. Bundling gets you half price.
