Buffet Bernard (1928-1999) painter & printmaking, born in Paris France and studied at the National School of the Fine Arts. He created more than 8000 paintings and many prints as well. His work which created his initial fame was linear and in gray and neutral tones depicting emaciated figures and distorted still-life. Later his work became more stylized.
