For sale is an 8X10 framed display with two 4X6 matted areas, one features a photo of the USS Alabama, the other card features a small piece of wood from the USS Alabama's deck similar to the one pictured. USS Alabama was a World War II era battleship that decommissioned in 1947 earning 9 battle stars. Currently, she is a museum. The wood was removed from her deck during restoration. Once the wood was acquired, I cut it down keeping part for myself and making these. The display includes a letter of authenticity as well as a copy of the receipt from the museum for the wood, though parts are blacked out. This is a great item for any navy, history, or WWII enthusiast! I have been collecting artifacts for over 20 years. Grab a small piece of history!
