Beautiful uranium glass egg paperweight by Ferro & Lazzarini, Murano.
Soft gold satin glass with brown feather detail and four different millefiori cane accents.
Cased uranium oxide glass over a clear glass core.
It’s very unusually made as the uranium glass only really glows with a uv light underneath the egg.
Will not glow from ambient light but has a high glow from the inside out. It’s really is a unique piece.
I have listed pictures of it in my UV cabinet to show the difference.
Scratches to the base but overall in fantastic condition.
