Resistol was famous for their fedoras, which they stopped making in 1968. This soft gray felt “self-conforming” hat—once known as the most comfortable hat ever made—was made when Resistol was still owned by Byer-Rolnick as you can see from the inside logo. Grosgrain ribbon hat band with feather detail. Leather inside band. Black satin lining. As seen on Humphrey Bogart (last pic). Excellent condition—it’s clean and fresh and doesn’t have signs of wear. Brim is 1.5”. Size tag is 6 3/4.
