Nice piece of Dominican blue amber, which is estimated at 20 million years old. Blue amber looks normal under regular light but when put against a dark background or when you shine light directly at it, you see the blue tones come through. This is due to smoke getting caught in the amber before it was completely dried. This piece was purchased from Amber Bugs and I’ll include the card shown in the last photo.
