Same page has small 1 1/2 x3 printed label pasted in: Not for Sale/Sample Complete Copy (other terms Proof Copy & Manuscript are pencilled out). Colorful DJ shows little use: only lightest edge wear & sun to spine. Author portrait w/bio on back. DJ displays extremely well. Blue cloth binding excellent- clean & square. No bumps, rubs, sun, fray, etc. Gold spine lettering crisp & intact. Front endpapers each have sm., light 2 x2 discolor where newspaper book review (for another of her books) was laid in. This is minor & does not affect inscription or signature. Text tight, bright, clean, unmarked- maybe just a trace of even toning. NOT ex library. excellent, well preserved copy.
