Friends Retro cookie jar
Vintage Cookie Time clock face cookie jar made by Abingdon Pottery circa 1949.
This two-tone green and off-white round cookie jar features a vitreous glaze with a whimsical painted clock face that has raised hands, dial, and the words Cookie Time. The clock face has black painted eyes, eyebrows, and nose, and a red mouth.
The painted features are entirely intact with no loss of paint. The lid is present, and the jar is in overall good condition. No Chips or cracks.
This is one of the most iconic of all cookie jars, the Cookie Time Clock has a fabulous fun design and is a worthy addition to any collection of vintage cookie jars, and will display beautifully in your retro kitchen or dining area.
The bottom is marked Abingdon # 653. The original paper label is on the back.
