Offered is this beautiful rare antique majolica plate.
Made by the Shorter & Boulton company in England. They registered this bird and fan design on March 17, 1881
This lovely example of high quality English majolica features three fans with birds and flowers on a stippled creamy white background.
This plate is marked with the English Registry mark on the back as seen in photo.
The plate has one imperfection - see 2nd picture picture - top left bird wing - otherwise near perfect piece!
