Japanese Mashiko pottery bowl attributed to Sakuma Totaro (1900-1976) hand crafted in the traditional Mingei style. He was friends with fellow potter Shoji Hamada.
Large bowl has a brown tenmoku glaze around the rim with an abstract tree and flower decoration in the center done in brown with blue highlights.
