Vintage Weiss statement brooch/pin. This gold-tone brooch was acquired, from an estate in Newport Rhode Island (former play ground for the rich and famous in a bygone era). The striking floral motif of this piece includes finely articulated gold-toned leaves surrounded by brightly colored heliotrope, ruby, and fuschia glass rhinestones. Each glass rhinestone is nestled in a 4-pronged claw setting. The safety clasp will securely hold the pin to any item of clothing. Brooch is in excellent vintage condition.

WEISS in capital block letters, dating the piece to the 1950's.
