Vintage Goebel Merkel Bach Saligas're German made beer stein with metal lid made by Zinn. The stein is made from stoneware and has an engraved pattern in blue and brown glazes. It has the makers mark stamped on the base, and a Zinn makers stamp under the lid. Heavy, salt-glaze grey and blue mug is in perfect condition with no cracks or chips. The lid looks like pewter. This would make a wonderful gift.
