It's a ribbed purple material with black velvet top & strap. Has a snap closure with beautiful gold & rhinestone embellishments. Has the classic Bendell black strip inside along with a gold plaque stamped Made in Italy for Henri Bendel: There's slight discoloration which can be seen in photos but nit very noticeable.
