This is a vintage suit made in Japan from the Showa 40s-50s (70s-80s).
The zipper is a Y ZIP.
It can be worn as a ceremonial suit for weddings, coming-of-age ceremonies, entrance ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, etc.

There is a small hole on the left sleeve and in the middle (see photos 4 and 5 for close-ups), damage on the right shoulder (photo 10), and on the left leg of the pants (photo 18).
