Vintage Taxco abalone sterling silver sun pendant / brooch. This Mexican artisan piece doubles as a necklace pendant with a bail ring discreetly placed on back, or as a pin. Inlay of iridescent abalone shell in a mosaic tile pattern. Large flat round shape with a smiling sun face in center. 925 Mexico hallmarks on back. Acquired from a private estate collection. 2.25” diameter. Excellent pre-owned condition.
