1968 -D Kennedy Half Dollar

This 1968 -D Kennedy half dollar is special and spectacular! Special in its patina and coloring. It has an exquisite golden coloring that i can’t quite capture in photos above, but it is rich, exuding a bronze/gold that highlights this coin.A good “error,” found. Minted in Denver, it has a D under neck.The side portrait of Kennedy is detailed too and shows thick hair,nice smile, and handsome face(almost Robert Redfordesque!)There are some tiny dents and scratches on coin as it has been circulated but the retained Kennedy image on front and eagle in back is still very clear and distinctive.The expressive eyes, carved ears, and extra thick and ruffled hair are all very detailed.All lettering crisp & clear. And, the eagle on back has excellent detail with fine image. This one is for the serious collector who knows how to auction this one as it will only go up in price.
