Rare antique Stanley hand plane made in USA. This is a Type 3 with smooth bottom believed to be from 1872-1873. The wood finish on the handle and knob are in rough shape and there is some light rust and other cosmetic imperfections. There's still a blade in it that may need replaced or sharpened. I cannot guarantee how well the tool functions. I have cleaned it up to the best of my ability. It has a smooth bottom
