Vintage post WW2 1950s-60s American submarine officer's badge, sterling silver, the front is gold-plated, by BALFOUR, beautifully modeled with submarine and propeller, flanked by dolphins, measuring 2-3/4 x 3/4 overall, signed BALFOUR and marked STERLING on the back, see close up photo, weighs 10.1 grams, has two post type fasteners on either end, we put two clutches on the post backs, although they are not shown in the photos of the back, condition: the gold-plated finish on the front has some wear from handling and age
