- About the Item -
This is a deadstock green denim jacket from the British Army.
Also known as a Battle Dress Jacket, it was manufactured by CHARLES MARKSON LTD., so it's from the 1950s.
The stencil on the tag is still clearly visible, and you can see the broad arrow, the symbol of British government property at the time.
It's a cool item with details typical of military wear of the time, such as the waist belt, underarm ventilation, and change buttons.
- Condition of the Item -
Purchased as deadstock and washed once to remove dirt.
All the change buttons, which are often missing, are present!
There is a small moth-eaten hole on the right shoulder. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
There are also some faint, inconspicuous stains in places. As it is a 75-year-old military item, there are some age-related changes due to storage, and some dirt and fraying, so please judge from the images.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Returns are not accepted due to concerns about switching items.
