Baldelli is an Italian pottery maker known for hand-painted & handcrafted ceramics. Dante Baldelli is an Italian Impressionist & Modern artist who was born in 1904. Worldwide collected artist, Items from his collections are at various auction houses. Pottery dinnerware sold at Lord & Taylor in the 1970s.
These were made in Italy, likely in the 1940s. Ceramic, hand-painted with natural minerals. Features a stylized blue flower in the center with a scalloped edge and blue trim. Earthenware beige with blue floral motif.
Markings: Signed BALDELLI Italy and numbered #20/446 & #21/446 on the back
Style: Italian country ceramic or folk art style. Collected Italian artist.
Very good condition. One bowl has a VERY tiny chip, see photos. No other chips, cracks or crazing. Beautiful glaze.
