Amazing pendant - the first of the Miraculuos Medals of saints we have today - portraying St. Louis. It is unsigned but known to have been made by Vachette, a famous French silversmith. On the side of the medal, you can still make out Sterling. There are a couple more phrases in French, one asking to pray for us and the other speaking of the guardian angel pictured.
