This set of 2 tea ceremony trays are made from bamboo and stained a dark brown. They are elevated about 3 off the ground and come in 2 parts... the tray and the base. The tray's edges are half-round bamboo that are tied together on the corners. The base of the tray is thin strips of bamboo tied down to cross pieces. The base is 4 small wood legs joined together with cross pieces. These were bought about 1999 and used only a few times as a dinner tray...they are in great condition. It's a very unique and sophisticated way to present dinner some evening or used as a display tray. They measure 14.5 x 10.75 .
