Antique Handcrafted Camel Bone and Inlaid Brass Trinket/Keepsake ChestThis is an unusual and beautiful Antique Handcrafted Camel Bone and Inlaid Brass Trinket/Keepsake Chest.The chest is constructed with polished ivory and warm toned camel bones and forged/inlaid brass.The piece has a formed three-layered lid with sculpted hinges that are nailed into the bone as is the hasp lock in the front of the piece.The three-layered sections are fit into formed brass with the center bone having some exquisite brass inlay work with three round inlaid shapes separated by brass rope inlays.The interior of the piece is lined in deep blue/violet velvet.The piece measures approximately 4" wide by 1.75" high by 3" in depth and is in excellent antique condition with no visible anomalies.This piece is a jewel in itself but could be used to keep jewelry, keepsakes and secrets hidden.
