This stunning vase was made in the 1920's by the Phoenix Glass Company of Pennsylvania as part of its Martele line, designed by Reuben Haley, who also designed the wonderful Ruba Rombic pattern. Consolidated Glass, which was reintroduced as Phoenix Glass after a fire destroyed the building, made American art glass in the Lalique style, molding its glass and using raised, sculptured patterns with crisp outlines. This bowl has a beautiful olive leaf and branch pattern in green and yellow. It is in excellent condition with no damage whatsoever. It measures 4 1/4" high, 8 3/8" wide, and 3 1/2" front-to-back.
