Wonderful vintage print of a Caricature of Johannes Brahms with a Red Hedgehog by Otto Bohler. Johannes Brahms auf dem Wege zum 'roten Igel'. German composer, 7 May 1833 - 3 April 1897 The Vienna press made a caricature of the composer Johannes Brahms walking alongside a red hedgehog because he had a fond habit of visiting his favorite tavern called Zum Roten Igel , The Red Hedgehog on a daily basis.
I got this at the estate of Ernst Hoffman a famous conductor 1930s-1950s.
Good condition some faint spots on the edges. I believe this may be an original looks to have been removed from a book but I have not had to appraised.
