This is a beautiful Gibsons England Art Deco 3 Piece Pottery Tea set made in the 1920's-1930's.
The pieces are made of red clay pottery and has blue bands and cream bands overlaid with a black transferware print that was then hand painted.
The transfer is a brightly painted landscape with fantasy birds.
There is gold trim and also a gold spout, handle and lid.
Great vintage condition, the teapot has an ever so tiny chip on the spout that you really can't even see.
The sugar bowl has a little crazing but that is expected and normal for this age and glaze used.
