As with most every phrase, 'Vintage 50's' means something slightly different to everyone. Old? Dated? Used? Personally, only one thing comes to mind, Craftsmanship. Products were made to function & function well, look good (or help you to, & to do so for decades (if not longer) with little upkeep/need to treat them very carefully. Solid, durable black plastic and forms the basic shape. These really need to be seen in person to fully understand how special they are. with a reflective coffee overlay and marked J Paris, Frame France, and 46/20. The temples feature a magnificent feather motif carved into a mocha overlay accented by all original rhinestones that sparkle in any lighting. These were well cared for and appear brand new (aside from slight oxidation of the brass hinges). am still hesitant to list these. They'd look amazing in a shadowbox. No reasonable offers ignored.
