When the top is angled down, it is 20 inches tall, and when the top is perpendicular to the back, it is taller. The top measures 7 and 7/8 long and 4 and 3/8 wide. The base is 8 1/8 inches long and 4 inches wide with 4 rubber feet on the bottom. This light has a Kovacs paper label on the base as shown. The power cord is a thick round heavy duty cord that is original to the lamp and accentuates it nicely. The plug is not polarized, which helps date this lamp back to the late 1960s to early 1970s. There is a switch on the top of the light that turns it off and on.
