Fostoria Coin Glass Collection of green glass featuring frosted coin medallions.
Large urn produced by the Fostoria Glass Company as part of their Coin Pattern line, cataloged as #1372.
The glass is a distinctive olive green color, and the frosted medallions feature alternating designs of an eagle with the year 1887 and liberty torches over starbursts.
The original Fostoria Coin Pattern glass was made between 1958 and 1982.
It's important to note that reproductions of this pattern were made by Lancaster Colony after they acquired Fostoria's molds in 1983. Original Fostoria Coin pieces have frosted coins, while the reproductions typically do not. These pieces all have frosted coin impressions.
Also known as Vintage Fostoria Coin Glass, Fostoria Liberty Olive Green Glass, or similar terms.
Each pieces ranges 50-200.
