“Original Cotton Chino Drill” / COTTON 100%
COLOR: OLIVE DRAB

This is a Freewheelers TYPE B-15 flight jacket. The fabric used is chino drill. Unlike Freewheelers' usual three-layer construction, the heavy flannel lining on the inside has been removed, making the jacket lighter and easier to wear.
A characteristic feature of this jacket is the collar, which uses pre-dyed original double-layered pile (cotton-wool material) fabric, and a wool pile chin strap is attached to the back of the collar. Also, while vintage versions used mouton material, this model uses pile fabric instead.
As you can see in images 11-13, there are some damages on the right sleeve rib and the right front body rib. These are not moth-eaten, but rather scratches that occurred during travel when a Boston bag was slung diagonally across the body and came into contact with the jacket. The jacket was worn 6-8 times during the season it was purchased. After that, it was worn about once or twice a season, and not at all during the 2024-25 season. There may be some wear and tear and minor scratches due to the nature of the fabric. There are no problems with the alpaca lining, the zipper, or any other parts. Please refer to the images and consider purchasing only if you understand the nature of used clothing.
