While the sound quality may vary depending on the individual record, the peaks of the sound can be visually confirmed when monitored on an MD. This particular record has sharp, clear sound with well-defined edges. It is likely from a batch near the beginning of the stamper's run. It is said that stampers were typically replaced after approximately 2000 pressings. Even with some cleaning, the initial pressings and those just before replacement would have inevitably suffered from stamper wear and tear due to dirt and heat.
The record for sale has some scratches, line marks, and spot stains, but there are almost no issues such as stress noise, skips, or loops, and I am confident that you will fully appreciate the charm of the original UK pressing.
