Vintage synthetic blue spinel sterling silver ring by Vargas Manufacturing Co. Men’s size 10. Acquired from a private estate collection, this Mid-Century era biker ring features a large emerald-cut genuine spinel gemstone (tested with Presidium Gem Tester) with a deep midnight blue color. Spinel gemstones of this era were lab-created to simulate sapphire and are still valulable today. Rectangle shaped face with a cross-hatched etched design on the shank. Stamped “Sterling” with Vargas hallmark on interior of band. Rare and highly collectable. Good pre-owned condition with natural patina and surface wear commensurate with age.
