This Belt Buckle clasp is over 100 years old. It is enameled Cloisonne, which is melted glass into a bronze design.
The mark on it says gilt , referring to the original gold gilt that was applied to the back. There are a couple places on the design where there is some slight chipping, please see the close-ups for reference.
