This pink plaid tweed suit is one of the most recognizable looks from ’s Spring/Summer 1995 collection. The same style was worn by Rosemarie Wetzel on the runway and later seen on Claudia Schiffer, Stephanie Seymour, Anna Wintour, and Olivia Rodrigo at the White House. It also appeared in the 2023 Barbie movie.Made from ’s signature fantasy tweed, the fabric blends soft pink with bold black, red, yellow, and teal lines in a striking check pattern. The tailoring is precise and flattering, especially around the waist, and it’s finished with classic black and gold CC buttons. The matching skirt buttons down the back for a clean, structured silhouette.The set is in very good vintage condition. The exterior looks almost untouched. The inner lining has some faint discoloration under the arms—common in vintage silk from this era due to deodorants used in the '90s.Labeled in size FR40, best fits modern day size FR36.
