Old traditional Hopi Artisan Bear paw & Whirlwind pendant and brooch hexagon piece. The intricate design has a bear paw & whirlwind bringing the rain clouds. Beautiful and masterfully done using Hopi overlay technique. This involves creating jewelry with two layers of silver, where a design is cut out of the top layer and applied over a textured, darker base layer. Pendant is on a leather cord necklace. Can be worn as a pendant necklace or a brooch.
