This is a Super-Takumar 55mm F1.8, late model, for sale.
It's a lens that's soft wide open and sharp when stopped down, characteristic of old lenses.
This lens is known for its rainbow flare, and it appears quite dramatically with artificial light, making shooting fun. Please check the 11th photo.
● Optics
The optics are generally clean, but there is dust and some traces of mold removal (stains?).
The third photo shows the lens's dirt when backlit, for your reference.
I took the photo to make it appear extreme, so I don't think it will have much impact on the image quality.
● Function
The helicoid, aperture ring, and aperture blades all function smoothly.
● Appearance
There are minor scratches and dirt from use, but the appearance is generally clean.
This is a sale of the lens body only.
Also, this is a very old used item.
