Beautiful antique book, The Abbott, Being a Sequel to the Monastery , by Sir Walter Scott, part of his famous Waverly Novels. Published in 1880s by John Wurtle Lovell, New York. The cover is green with beautifully detailed gold gilt. Measures approx. 7.5 x 5 . has lovely illustrations.
Excellent to great vintage condition. There are some marks from a previous owner, such as their name in the front. Some dings and marks ont he cover and pages etc..
