This vintage movie publicity still (8 1/4” x 10”) is in very good condition. This photo was provided by Paramount Pictures to magazines/newspapers to publicize a very sophisticated & glamorous-looking Rosalind Russell starring in 1942 film “Take A Letter, Darling”. Since this is original 80 year old vintage still photo, it is bound to have some imperfections or defects routinely found in vintage photographs. The crisp & clean image of Rosalind Russell is in fantastic condition & will display very well. There are some tiny border defects & other minor marks or defects that were likely acquired through handling. There are light scuff marks & tiny creases almost solely in the borders. It really is a great image of one of major movie actresses of Hollywood’s Golden Age.
Rosalind Russell was an actress, comedian known for her role as fast-talking newspaper reporter Hildy Johnson in the Howard Hawks screwball comedy “His Girl Friday”. Also star of “Auntie Mame” & “Gypsy”.
