These are PITS and they used to snap on the side of socks. The socks would have a rivet on the side so you can attach on the the animal. They had multiple little trinkets to attach on your socks to change them. They were originally sold at a kiosk in downtown Disney in California back in possibly 2004-2008.
They are extremely rare and hard to find.
I believe maybe the company is gone no longer in service but these definitely went on socks. They were super cute and really popular in the LA Anaheim area.
