Colonial Revival was all the rage in home from the 1950-70s and this vintage bedspread is the perfect example. It featured an Early American trade sign and shop card designs in red, green, blue, yellow, and beige. Motifs include “Whale Oil,” “Old Farmer’s Almanac,” and “Commerce” signs, set on an ivory and brown townscape background.
This fitted structured mid-century style bedspread includes:
Top panel approx. 38 W x 74 L
Matching fabric piping around the top panel
Skirt approx. 20 long with overlapping corner panels for a tailored fit
Slubbed cotton or cotton-blend fabric with a linen-like texture
Decorator weight, reminiscent of Waverly or Schumacher Colonial Williamsburg designs
Very good vintage condition with bright colors and minimal wear.
Ideal for mid-century Colonial Revival décor, vintage bedroom styling, or repurposing for upholstery and craft projects.
