■Story■
In 1983, East Germany, under attack by the alien species BETA, was being forced into a desperate war of attrition.
Amidst this, Lieutenant Theodor Eberbach, belonging to the 666th Tactical Aircraft Squadron Schwarzemarken, known as the strongest in East Germany, did not trust his country or its people due to past trauma, and threw himself into battle as a soldier to survive.
One day, Theodor sorties with Captain Irisdina Bernhard, the squadron commander, to save a tactical aircraft isolated on the battlefield.
When he is told that the soldier they rescued is Lieutenant Katia Waldheim of the West German army, Irisdina cannot hide her surprise.
Katia, who crossed the border to defect to East Germany, further requests to be assigned to the 666th Squadron.
Lieutenant Gretel Jeckeln, the squadron's political officer, advises that they will attract the attention of the Ministry of State Security, which controls East Germany, but Irisdina permits Katia's assignment and appoints Theodor as her instructor.
Theodor, who does not want to be watched by the Ministry of State Security, presses Katia for her reason for defecting to East Germany.
Katia replies, I came to find someone.
The story of the soldiers in the war that unfolded in Europe is now being told.
