Wilhelm Hammershøi (1864-1916), a representative painter of late 19th century Denmark.
He established the Association and received high acclaim in Europe during his lifetime through activities that distinguished him from the Academy.
This book is the catalogue for the major retrospective exhibition Silent Poetry, held in 2008 at the Royal Academy of Arts (RAA) in London, which later traveled to the National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo.
