This pump does not replace a primary, 115V sump pump. It works along side your primary pump to provide additional protection against basement flooding, giving you peace of mind when the power goes out. It is designed to work only during power outages or if the primary pump does not work. Choose this pump if your sump basin is at least 18-in wide by 22-in deep.
