The from is thin silver toned metal with etched scrollwork lettering. The back is pewter.
Brooch is 1.25 inches long and 1.25 wide
This is a beautiful antique piece of mourning jewelry era history. I found this piece in an estate auction of a Victorian home outside of Boston. I would guess it dates to the early 1900s.
