A wooden pen with a wood shaft made from exquisite figured Japanese horse chestnut.
Finished with lacquer coating, it has a wet-look gloss that cannot be achieved with oil or wax finishes. The wood grain also appears three-dimensional.
The body, inspired by musical instruments, features distinctive curves that are not only beautiful but also fit perfectly in the fingers. This pen offers a comfortable fit and writing experience for those who like wooden pens but find them too thick and difficult to write with.
Hardware is available for both ballpoint and mechanical pencils. Kato Metal Industries hardware is used, with models 201 and 202 compatible.
It is also possible to purchase the pen without hardware. In this case, the price will be 3,000 yen off the listed price.

Notes
■ This pen is finished with the same paint as musical instruments. Therefore, the handling is the same as a lacquer-finished guitar, but we will provide this information as many people may not be aware.
・Dents
Lacquer is easily scratched and will dent if dropped or if hard objects hit it. The clip may dent the pen even with careful handling. Please understand this characteristic of the product.
・Chemical Reactions
Lacquer can react with rubber products and chemical products such as thinner, potentially leaving marks on the contact surface. There is a risk of reaction with rubber if stored in a pen case with other writing instruments.
・Cracks
Cracks may appear on the painted surface due to sudden temperature changes. Also, cracks may naturally appear after a decade or more of use, but we hope you will enjoy this as part of the character of the lacquer finish. Vintage guitars have such cracks, and new guitars that reproduce these are also sold.
・Care
We recommend polishing with a musical instrument cloth that does not contain silicone and a lacquer-compatible polish.
