About the fabric:
The surface of the heavy-ounce moleskin is pigment-coated.
The fabric is washed and loosened from the raw material, giving it a wonderfully aged appearance.
It has a substantial weight and I think it's a fabric that will be worth wearing for a long time!
Inspired by the uniforms of British shoe factory workers, the flyfront shop jkt (2007) and flyfront cotton jkt (2010) were created. After that, it was produced as the flyfront uk coat (2015). And this time, we have newly patterned it with a more relaxed body sizing. I think it can now be worn like an overcoat.
It has a simple design, but it has a certain scent of a British shoe factory.
The moleskin used is heavy-ounce and has a substantial feel.
Also, the surface is pigment-dyed and washed as is, and then loosened, so the texture with an indescribable unevenness looks like suede leather.
Because it is woven at a high density, I think it is perfect for winter cold protection.
From cutting to sewing, skilled craftsmen work carefully on their own.
