Recently, the number of U.S. Army ECWCS system fleece jackets has been steadily decreasing, leading to a rise in prices. We have just received a new stock of these jackets.
This fleece is part of the third generation (GEN3) of the ECWCS, which utilizes a unique U.S. Army layering system and was developed as an inner layer such as a waterproof shell.
The material used is Polartec's ThermalPro fleece.
It is lighter and more compact than conventional ECWCS fleece jackets, featuring longer pile fibers. Additionally, it boasts excellent moisture-wicking properties, heat retention, and lightweight qualities, making it extremely warm and comfortable to wear.
The shoulders, elbows, collar, and cuffs are reinforced with nylon to enhance durability and aid in layering.
The chest area features Velcro for attaching rank and name patches.
Both sides utilize Polartec Power Dry Grid, improving elasticity and breathability.
The jacket provides a great wearing experience, with an exceptional feel that is very comfortable.
When it's cold, zipping up to the neck provides substantial protection without needing a scarf.
There are two pockets on both sides, and two large mesh pockets on the inside, ensuring ample storage space.
The cuffs have built-in elastic.
It can be worn alone, or layered with a Level 6 hard shell for enhanced waterproofing, making it suitable for various environments.
The color is foliage foliage, a mix between gray and light olive green.
The available size is XL - L. This popular oversized fit is recommended for streetwear and club-goers as well. The length is slightly longer than average. For reference, I am 173 cm tall and weigh 70 kg, and this is a good size for wearing loosely.
