Exquisite vintage sterling silver drop earrings, stamped 925 by hand. The hallmarks have softened w time & wear, but the 925 remains visible. Each earring features a faceted black crystal center framed by pavé Austrian crystals, known for their brilliance & fine cut.
This style reflects boutique craftsmanship of the 1960’s, when Austrian & European jewelers combined sterling silver w Swarovski-quality crystals for export to high-end shops. My grandparents traveled extensively, including to Austria, & these earrings were acquired during that period—part of a collection where only fine sterling & artisan jewelry were purchased, never costume.
Approx. 1.5” drop x 1” wide. Pierced backs. Excellent vintage condition, w patina preserved to honor the history. A rare & highly collectible piece of jewelry history—these earrings command attention & belong in any serious vintage collection.
